Delhi got its third Dilli Haat on 13th July, 2014 when Dilli Haat at Janakpuri was inaugurated. Very spacious indeed! DHJP is more spacious than the other two Dilli Haats which are at INA and Pitampura. Dilli Haat, Janakpuri is spread over an area of & acres. This venue showcases the country's craft and cultural traditions, is a shopper's paradise and a one-stop destination for art, craft, music and food lovers.

Dilli Haat has a provision of 100 typical craft stalls, 74 open platform shops and 46 AC Shops. These stalls showcase ethnic and exotic products and materials exclusive to India. There are endless shopping opportunities for the visitors as it brings India's rural tradition of an open market space to modern Delhi.

Dilli Haat, Janakpuri gives ample opportunity for food lovers to savour delicious food as there are 14 food stalls set up where one can savour the flavours from across the country and 15 food stalls serving cuisines from around the world.

There is also a fine dining restaurant with banqueting facilities and a Kids' Zone. An ideal venue for annual festivals, Dilli Haat, Janakpuri has been hosting festivals like Mango Festival, Itr & Sugandhi Festival and Magic Festival.

Heart-winning design An Exposition Hall spreading over 950 sqm. has been set up where various exhibitions, seminars, events etc. take place. The outer walls of the exposition hall, covered by creepers are meant to provide a green cover.

Some special features of the Haat are - A huge dormitory: for 80 persons, 5 public toilets with energy efficient fittings and light fixtures, 24 x 7 power back up, a sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, rain water harvesting and 3 garbage dumping spaces have also been constructed to keep the Haat clean and eco-friendly. The new Dilli Haat has been developed with a number of eco- friendly features and is fully disabled- friendly. 

Lifts, Ramps and Escalators are installed for the convenience of differently-abled persons and senior citizens. With a view to provide security to the general public, CCTV cameras have been installed at the venue for surveillance. There is provision for parking in the basement and on the surface area. More than 240 cars and 3 buses can be parked at the surface area and almost 55 cars and 120 two wheelers can be parked in the basement parking area.

Dilli Haat, Janakpuri is becoming a popular cultural destination in West Delhi. It can also boast of hosting Food Festivals of India (the Delhi editions).
